As I move forward with this blog, I realize that I’ve been writing two books at the same time for many years.  The other one is called Growing Leaders: Learning Environment for the 21st Century and I started a blog for that one on April 2, 2014. My first post was called “On First Drafts” and I now realize that ideas from it will show up in Chapter 6 .

It will also turn up in Chapter 5 because Common Core Writing Standard #6 talks about using the internet for collaboration and publishing.  It occurs to me that’s what I’ve been doing with this blog.
